Highly recommend listening to this male quartet consisting of an American, Frenchman, Spaniard, and Swiss. I can't even begin to describe the passion and charisma in this group. Reflecting the multi-national character, the songs drift between English, Spanish and Italian. Much respect to Simon Cowell for bringing these talented gentleman together.

God has given everyone special talents/passions.

i got the job!! hurrah.
they hired me on the spot. although the interview did take over an hour and a half. but all is well and today was my first day on the job. my boss is super nice and the training went pretty smoothly. there is a lot to know, but the vehicles are fun to drive :)
so far i'm lovin it.
God is good!

WHEN: saturday night, 8pm.
WHERE: i'm home alone making pancakes.
WHAT: the phone rings and i'm, of course, expecting it to be for kristie.
WHO: i hear a male voice on the other end and to my surprise asks for 'Shanna vanOOsten'. WHY: callers that don't pronounce my name properly usually catch my attention, as it was in this case also, and he goes on to explain that he is from AVIZZ car rentals and recieved my resume.
OUTCOME: After asking a few short questions we scheduled an interview tomorrow (i know, op Zondag!) at 11am. the office would only be a 10min walk from my apartment and the position is for fulltime hours. i am so excited!! i had only applied for this yesterday during my 5 hr stint at the Employment Centre among the 30 other jobs i applied for. fortunately, the fact that i don't have a car didn't seem to be a problem.
that reminds me, i need to get my drivers license switched to the BC 'Class5'...

i'll keep you posted. . .
